British PM burned by WI Gov. Tattletale

[Updated from Friday, June 12, 10:56 p.m.] Neither of Wisconsin's two major print dailies - - The Wisconsin State Journal and The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, have carried this time.com story, though it first appeared 24 hours ago. Will their readers be told - - even through a mere electronic link - - that one of those "leaders around the world" Walker has bragged about meeting of late has questioned his veracity and memory?]

Walker is so unprepared for the national and international stages.

He's running his mouth, bragging and showing off to an audience of big donors about what the actual handful of world leaders he's briefly met might have told him confidence, if they said it at all, since British Prime Minister David Cameron is basically saying that Walker is a liar.

Think Canadian officials are interested in talking to Walker if he's basically an open mic?
David Cameron disputes an assertion by the Republican presidential hopeful that he spoke ill of President Obama
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says British Prime Minister David Cameron confided in him that he was concerned about the direction of American leadership. But there’s a problem with the Republican’s tidy critique of President Barack Obama: Cameron doesn’t remember it that way.
Walker, who has taken several trips overseas in recent months to study up on foreign policy in preparation for an all-but-certain presidential bid, told a roomful of Republican donors Friday that world leaders, including Cameron, are worried about the U.S. stepping back in the world. “The Prime Minister did not say that and does not think that,” a Downing Street spokesperson told TIME.
“I heard that from David Cameron back in February earlier when we were over at 10 Downing,” Walker said. “I heard it from other leaders around the world. They’re looking around realizing this lead from behind mentality just doesn’t work. It’s just not working.”
The takeaway here: Don't confide in Walker. Better yet, don't meet with him. He's a fake.

Unfortunately what Walker hears and what his uneducated little mind comprehends are often two different things. This isn't the first time Walker has lied about what other people have said and it won't be the last. So long as he can make himself look more important or take a jab at the current administration in Washington, he will do it no matter how big the lie is.

Sad the WI papers haven't reported this.

Why on Earth would all these world leaders, like the British PM, opine that "this lead from behind mentality just doesn’t work"? They themselves are in the business of leading from behind, not from in front of their troops -- they are heads of state, not battlefield generals; they have generals and other soldiers under their commands. Likewise the US President, who as Commander in Chief has his post wherever he can securely receive information and communicate commands, in order to keep control of all the Armed Forces, not just one battalion, battleship, or bomber.

This, not physical condition, is why Lincoln and FDR and Truman and LBJ and Nixon, etc., didn't ship off to "lead their troops from the front" in their assorted wars. Their leadership duties weren't there.

And if Walker is claiming HE has the dimwitted courage to lead from the front (as if that would be good), his running from his own unarmed citizens through the State House tunnels gave poor evidence of that. All he's proved is that he lies, badly.

With hope - and a lot of luck - Walker one day will be living down by the river, and eating ham sandwhiches. Though #TW will demand he bring the brown bag back.

FYI
This is a google translation of a report from a Montreal news outlet. The translation is rough but you'll get the jest of it. Also remember that Quebec and it's politicians are a breed unto themselves and do not reflect Canada.
