Hearing Tomorrow On WI Groundwater Giveaway Bill

Contravening the Wisconsin State Constitution and its Public Trust Doctrine, the GOP-led, WMC dominated state legislature is about to give polluting industries further de-regulated access to water that used to be yours:

A bill that would make it easier for large agribusiness, mega-sized dairies known as CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations), frac sand mining companies and anyone else who wants to exploit Wisconsin’s groundwater for financial gain to obtain a permit for high capacity wells has just been scheduled for a public hearing tomorrow, January 30, 2014 at 12:30 pm in 225 NW at the state capitol.
Make no mistake: this is part of a pattern to drain the Public Trust Doctrine from the Wisconsin Constitution without the political risks attached to a direct attack by amendment.

Sen. Kedzie has become a major conduit for bills harming the environment. He is Chair of the Senate Natural Resources Committee. Any wonder why this crap legislation whistles right through the legislature. Living here in Walworth County I'm so sick of this turncoat who sucks up to every special interest group that Walker or Stepp send his way. How this man sleeps at night with all the sleaze that he's become involved in and still claims he's a fiend of the environment. He's become a compulsive liar like his colleagues. Who says money doesn't corrupt?

this process of taking clean groundwater out in massive amounts and then turning it into dirty polluted water which gets spread all over the state does not make sense for Wisconsin. It seems that the answer for pollution is again....simply dilute it with more water....listen to the SCIENCE in these issues..! Does the State really believe this will work...? Do you know why the BIG AG. is leaving other states.....they are running out of water...ask California! This State will allow the privatizing of massive profits for a very few...while socializing the clean up....What is our DNR doing....?

How long will it take people to wake up and see what is happening? As it goes now, our future generations haven't a chance.
