Fracking, Drilling Produces Water Contamination

No surprise:

In at least four states that have nurtured the nation's energy boom, hundreds of complaints have been made about well-water contamination from oil or gas drilling, and pollution was confirmed in a number of them, according to a review that casts doubt on industry suggestions that such problems rarely happen.

Yes, don't we have to draw the line at water contamination? Energy independence is great, but not at the expense of clean drinking water! So let's finally get going seriously on alternatives to oil and gas. We are only 30 plus years late!

Dumping sewage into Lake Michigan also causes water contamination, your point?
