Political Stuffed Crust

Remember when you were skating through a final exam and you filled up your blue book with superfluous material to create the impression of knowledge and stretch the whole thing out?

And I later heard more than one editor tell a reporter "empty your notebook" because a story was too short. Or tell an editorial assistant at deadline to find some copy - - anything - - to fill a hole on a page.

I even remember when a candidate for Wisconsin Governor - - true story - - inflated the length of an economic development plan by enlarging the type on his website to WAR ENDS size.

Wait a minute! The same guy's doing it again:

Is Scott Walker responsible for the success of Ian's Pizza?

File at #anythingtosellbooks.
