DC's NFL Team Cites Its History - - Ignores Centuries Of Real-Life History

Daniel Synder is only protecting his merchandising. What an embarrassment - - and this comes from someone born and bred in DC, and who hates the racist name Snyder is protecting. He's on the bad side of a losing issue in a situation that will only get better when he changes his mind, and the team name.

It's not like other teams haven't changed their names.

Protecting his merchandising? Just shows that you really don't understand this issue or business.

Do you not realize how many millions of dollars would he make if they changed logos? New jerseys, hats, shirts, socks, footballs, plates, napkins, decorations etc... plus he would still make money on the traditional logo.

This is more about a business owner doing what he wants with his business and not being pressured by a vocal minority. If you don't like the name, don't buy Redskin merchandise, go to their games or watch them on TV. Pretty simple.
