Cutting-Edge Biomass Energy Plant Escaped Walker's Veto

This energy-generating plant in Rothschild, WI will burn Wisconsin wood products, not dirty coal:

Biomass power generation projects are growing around the world, with Navigant Research forecasting last week a global market valued at more than $11 billion by 2020

"These markets are growing and projects are popping up, and it seems like it's one here and one there," said Gary Radloff, director of Midwest energy policy analysis at the Wisconsin Energy Institute, at UW-Madison.
Yes - - one here, one there, but not the one Scott Walker killed scheduled for downtown Madison a few days after his swearing-in:
The move is the latest in a series of steps reversing energy and related policies supported by the Doyle administration, including cancellation of the high-speed train proposed to link Milwaukee and Madison and legislation unveiled last week that could slow development of wind power projects in the state.
