Well-Fed GOP US House Reps Urge Doubled Food Stamp Cuts
The same House GOP Tea Party-controlled members who receive $174,000 annual salaries, share $350 bottles of wine with hedge fund managers and absorb gobs of other favors and public benefits - - and who can dine with their Senate colleagues in the exclusive, subsidized Senate dining room - - now want to double to $40 billion their planned cuts to the food stamp program that literally keeps poor people and recession victims alive.
Has there ever been a nastier group of elected officials on Capitol Hill?

The program would run properly if they hadn't downsized Gov't until the workers, for the program, are so overwhelmed as their caseloads become unmanageable and "cheaters" on the program can't be monitored properly. To bad, the GOP will NOT discuss that issure.
