Walker Claim About Campaign Donations Is Upended

Nicely-constructed factual slap-down in this report in the Journal Sentinel from Scott Walker's opening appearance in what I am calling his Save My Bacon Survival Tour:

From a farm in Dane to a foundry in Milwaukee, Gov. Scott Walker barnstormed across Wisconsin Tuesday, defending his record and opening an unprecedented battle to keep his job...

Walker won’t know who his Democratic challenger will be until after the May 8 primary...

Walker said his real opponent will be out-of-state cash pouring in from unions. It was Walker and the Republican-controlled Legislature that backed legislation to curtail collective bargaining for most public sector workers.

As of mid-January, Walker raised $12 million for the race. Around half the cash was raised from out-of-state contributions, according to a Journal Sentinel analysis of the data.
