"You're Welcome, A Million!"

Two reasons the recall movement should shoot for a million signatures, when 540,000 are required:

1. You always want more than you need, both to deliver the goods, and a message.

2.  You want to be able to turn around Walker's giddy sign-off to the fake David Koch:

"Thanks a million!"

And how. That would be most excellent. A worthy goal to aim for. Thanks (a million) for pointing it out!

Agree. Even better would be to pass the 1.1 million votes that Walker got in Nov. 2010. No sense being the least bit complacent right now.

1.1 million would be a superb target.

Are you looking for 1 million signatures, or 1 million individuals to sign the recall.

There is a big difference.

Actually, accounting to the GAB, they are now considered one in the same.

Cute, RD. Of course I am looking for valid signatures.

Are you upset about signatures scratched out or torn up/swiped by detractors?

James,

Yes. I think it is foolish for anyone to try and interfere with the process, whether that be signing multiple times, or tearing up sheets/scribbling out names.

I don't know why people would risk jail time or fines over something so trivial as obtaining signatures. Especially in my opinion that if and when enough signatures are obtained that Walker is going to win the election anyway.

Although I'm still not sold on the fact that they will obtain all of the 550,000 signatures needed and they will be valid, it now appears it will be likely with the lackadaisical standards being set by the GAB.

Still, I wouldn't recommend that anyone gets so upset as to scribble something out, rip something up, or sign multiple times.

However, my money would go on the side that there will be more multiple signatures found than there will be instances of people scribbling stuff out.
