Tommy Thompson To Talk Stem Cells At The Vatican

Our ex-Governor takes his last-ditch quest for one more Big Title (US Senator) all the way to Rome, Italy - - surely there are more actual votes in Rome, Wisconsin - - for a talk on stem cells, where just about anything could happen in a move so Onionesque.

As has been noted, Tommy has been all over the place on the issue of embryonic stem cells, but to the Right, which the one-time relatively moderate Tommy is courting, it's a closed issue.

TT's ego is so bloated that he thinks he'll be able to change the Vatican's mind on stem cell research. The same ego that thought he could be President in 2008.

Uff da!

Sorry Tommy- the Pope won't stick it to the Dems in Wisconsin though Dolan could probably send you a few NY dollars.

by the time he stops trying to talk in latin and italian with his syntax, they'll think he's talking about steamed clams.
