Restoring The KK River's Natural Flow Is A Win For Everyone

Putting our rivers into concrete channels only sped up the flow, added to flooding and ruined the fisheries  - - so other than that, what a great idea, right?

Wrong?

Helping to restore the KK River's natural setting, like the revival of the Milwaukee River after the North Ave. dam was pulled out, will be a boon to surrounding neighborhoods, the city and and the entire watershed.

All in all it's perfect use of public funds and a model of cooperation among the public, private and non-profit sectors.

Hoo-rah.
