With The Outcome of Most Senate Recalls Only Days Away, Wisconsin Also Awaits...

1. The results of an investigation ordered by the Wisconsin Governmental Accountability into Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus - - the local official with a track record of questionable office practices whose botched vote processing procedures threw the April State Supreme Court election into doubt, turmoil and an eventual recount. David Prosser, the incumbent, was eventually found to have won.

2. The results of an ongoing investigation into an alleged physical confrontation between State Supreme Court Justices Prosser and Anne Walsh Bradley prior to the Court's validation of the State Senate's approval of Gov. Walker's controversial plan to strip public employees of collective bargaining rights. That plan led to the recall elections.

3. The results of an investigation into the cause of the July 30 fire in La Crosse that destroyed the offices of a labor organization's recall effort aimed at State Sen. Dan Kapanke, (R,. along with more downtown properties destroyed.
