A Note To Readers: Why I Can't Allow Open Comments

Without the moderation function that gives me the chance to review comments before they are posted, today's blog would have included multiple spam insertions and an overtly racist barb aimed at Obama. To the rest of you, thanks for being patient and filling out the comment box as required.

Overtly Racist Barb? I think I went to school with her.

btw, more people seem to be getting that stupid Disqus parasitic third party Comment crudpile. If you ever wanna get rid of me no fuss no muss, use that add-on. I tried it, I hate it.

Awwwww, what's wrong with Disqus?

It interfaces well with Blogger and WordPress and does well with sharing on social networks. It's faster than the Facebook modules, allows anon commenting...and it will actually let you take your comments with you when you leave the service, unlike Facebook....

James,

Thanks you for allowing us posters to contribute. It is comforting to know that I can often be the voice of reason in this vast environment of liberalism..... and you actually post my comments.

Have a good weekend.
