Waukesha County Clerk Office Nearly Has A Fresh $1 Million Screwup

Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus came under fire a year ago for odd management methods, including storing election data on a password-protected private computer in her office.

Then she became a household name in April when her day-and-a-half vote count FUBAR provoked a costly local and statewide State Supreme Court recount.

Now it has been revealed that Nickolaus' office lost a certified letter about a regional cooperation program - - with a deadline - - that nearly cost Waukesha County a million bucks.

You wonder how long County voters and taxpayers are going to continue letting Nickolaus remain in office?
