I Found An Incandescent Light Bulb In A Closet Drawer! Who Gets It?

Should I send it to the former Journal Sentinel's conservative columnist-turned-Tea Party Senator Ron Johnson staffer Patrick McIlheran, or to Brian Williams, who on this issue, again recently sounded like McIlheran?

I don't know. These flourescent bulbs are noisy to our pets. And I never did like that low-flow toilet law. You just end up flushing more than once, right? Where is the savings?

I've never heard of noisy CFL's. The rest of the comment: no comment.

Btw, I would love to see Wisconsin become the leader in water conservation efforts and industries. We should do what is necessary to encourage more people to capture rain water for watering plants and lawns; to re-use the water that is wasted while we wait for hot water; and to install systems that provide instant hot tap water. I expect all of these measures to become standard in the future.

For additional water conservation, I also favor foot-controlled public restroom faucets and bubblers, where water only runs while a pedal or bar is pressed down. (Those motion detectors can be frustrating.)

The House voted Friday to defund implementation of the new light bulk law -- striking a major blow for freedom! Seriously, that's what they say. It won't go anywhere, but that's how they're spending their time. Yahoo!

Another conservative dog whistle.
