GOP Legislature Will Assist Wisconsin Jobless - - After Three-Month Delay

Tuesday a.m. update:  Walker says he will sign the measure.

Wisconsin legislators, who enjoy their own state taxpayer-funded $88-per-day tax free meal and travel allowance along with salaries and perks and other state-employee benefits (all negotiated by the unions they have crushed) belatedly agreed to distribute federal unemployment funds to long-term out-of-work state residents - - after a three month delay.

During which, presumably, the jobless have learned their lesson: avoid being laid off the next time Wall Streeters crash the economy.
