Sensenbrenner Joins The No-Debate-Needed-Here-In-Wisconsin Club

Cong. Jim Sensenbrenner, (R), earned late night-night monologue fame a while ago for unplugging a Congressional hearing In Washington, D.C. and walking out when he didn't like the tenor of the testimony.

He did much the same at a Town Hall meeting in front of constituents last night.

Oh, way too much talk about fellow Republican's Scott Walker's budget/union-busting bills for the long-term Congressman/walking-billboard-for-term-limits, he.

So: early gavel.

The pattern is clear - - from our no-negotiations Governor, to the Assembly Republicans who stifled testimony on the Walker budget-repair plan in Madison, to their senior caucus Congressman when he's got control of the gavel and microphone in DC or back home: Republicans abhor discussion and public input: it interferes with authoritarian behavior.
