There have been several such incidents lately; for god's sake, bicyclists should be able to ride without such horrible outcomes.

As a person who is a bicyclist, biker, and a driver, when the inevitable accidents on shared roadways occur between these mixed modes of transportation - the person on the bike or cycle is going to lose out - every time.

And often with their lives.
