Waukesha County Exec Wants To Guarantee Special Interest Its/Our Money

Dan Vrakas wants to enshrine the road builders in the Wisconsin Constitution.

The road builders have always had their way with Wisconsin politics; at least give Vrakas - - now all in for this most special of special interests - - credit for candor.

And what of the collateral or social costs of road-building? Poor air quality, for example?
Sprawl and damage to land and water - - which other public programs must address?

Shouldn't some of those costs be borne by vehicle fees and the gas tax?

Apparently not.

Update: It looks like more of these local resolutions are on the way in support of constitutionally-shoveling gas tax revenues only to road-builders.
