Tar Sands Decimation To Our North, Gulf Oil Ruination To the South
The extraction of tar sands by the ton for a few drops of oil each - - along with the diversion of massive amounts of river water in Alberta, air pollution and more issues on the highway - - are merely the less-visible corruption of the earth now underway in the Gulf of Mexico.
Similar results, differences only by a matter of degree.
Our addition to oil is a core problem; the climate and energy bill pending in the Senate is a big, need step forward.
