More Green Manufacturing Jobs Coming To Milwaukee

First it was the Spanish firm that builds wind turbines announcing a production plant in the Menomonee Valley.

Now its Talgo, a second Spanish firm, announcing that it will build high-speed rail trains at the former Tower plant on the west side.

Two new, job producers, pointed towards energy-efficient technologies - - wind and modern rail - - reinforcing Milwaukee's image as a manufacturing hub.

Overall - - great news, nice synergy.

First off the Talgo jobs coming to SE Wisconsin is not a new story, that was announced with great blather by Diamond Jim Doyle last summer.

Dolye's Choo Choo's

And from a jobs standpoint it is a best a push, since existing Milwaukee employer Super Steel appears to be going under.
