The "Greenhouse" PM Drive-Time Program Is Better When Green Is Gone

AM 620 WTMJ's afternoon drive-time talk and news program is more contemporary and funnier when grouchy Jonathan Green is on vacation.

Been that way for years. I noticed the improvement when Mark Reardon used to sub for Green.

No offense to Green, but the show stalls with his downbeat sound and off-putting conservative patter - - the latter often being apropos of nothing.

Station management should consider moving this program permanently into the 21st century permanently.

He's tired and burned out. The program is fresher and more enjoyable when Dick Alpert fills in.
