Debate Post-mortem: Biden More Reassuring

No surprise that Sarah Palin held her own.

And also not surprising that polls after the debate indicated viewers found Joe Biden more informed, thus more qualified to step in should a vice-president be elevated to the Presidency.

That's the whole question: who can step in.

With that question settled, regardless of Palin's appeal to her base, it's back to basics: who should be elected President?

Cranky and erratic McCain is still fatally flawed by his connection to George W. Bush, whose administration has profoundly damaged the country and most families' stability.

As Biden pointed out, McCain has not been a maverick on issues that effect everyday people. It's the wrong time for a maverick.

Haven't we had our fill of surprises lately? Haven't we had enough superficiality in the White House since 2000?

Don't we need a President who is more than a self-declared nickname?

Continuing advantage, Obama.
