Bailin', Flailin' And Palin

It's not surprising that polls are showing voters moving towards Barack Obama.

McCain's flying and flailing around the country in suspended campaign animation over Wall Street bailout politics and process made him look erratic.

And Sarah Palin's jaw-dropping incoherence in the Katie Couric interview unmasked the veep nominee, and additionally spoke volumes about McCain's dreadful judgement in choosing Palin as his running mate.

I don't think she can undo the last month of news and satire with one debate performance that could be remarkable for simply being unremarkable. That's not much of a credential on which a national campaign can be run and won.

Little wonder that voters are assessing Obama as more thoughtful and organized - - ergo, Presidential.

I don't know Jim, maybe the McCain campaign is running a little rope a dope. They've had her out there stumbling and bumbling so bad to lower the bar to the point that if she's ok they win?

Nah. She is stumbling because what you see is what we'll get. I expect her to be better prepared and effective in the debate, minimizing her lack of information and expereince.

She might 'win' if she doesn't have another round of Couic moments, but then again, along will come Tina Fey in 48 hurs to undo the progress.

And Palin will still be Palin, still explainin'.
